

The Workshop on Thermochemical Solar Conversion was held in Seville on October 18-19 where the SOCRATCES project was presented.
This workshops was a organized by the University of Seville together the Environmental Chemical Engineering Department and the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSI). This event aimed to review the development of technologies in the area of solar thermochemical conversion and storage applied to solar reactors. Additionally, reputed experts on outstanding topics in the field gave keynotes and lectures.
The course attended by PhD students and young researchers who shared their project results in a friendlier
environment than conventional conferences.
The SOCRATCES project was presented by Carlos Ortiz (University of Seville) who did and overview about the project and a technical approach pointing tha advantages and opportunities that SOCRATCES presents.
